Tourist Route

On the Tourist Route you can learn about history of Baroque facilities in their purest form. You have chance to admire world class architecture, sculptures and paintings. The route follows through the Monastery Church – monumental late baroque temple with tremendous interior. Then you visit monumental Silesian Piast Mauzoleum – one of the biggest necropolia in Europe. St. Joseph Church is another unique example of work called Silesian Sistine Chapel. There are frescos of the Silesian Rembrandt, Michael Willmann. This route lead you through area of the historical cementary. The culminating point of the tour is dark underground. Visiting time: 1,5 hours.

low season (1st November – 30th April) from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Individual tourists can borrow an audio guide with the Standard route on it, within the ticket price. Audioguides are available in following languages: Polish, English, German, Czech, French, Russian and Italian.
